The new Valvetone Impact 10 Watt is in and holy crap ........... As you probably know we've been stocking the 2W version for some time and it's seriously one of the fastest selling items in stock.
These are all hand made by Darryl in Australia and the construction is "beautiful" point to point, mil spec using mostly NOS parts. It is truly something to behold looking inside one of Darryl's amps.
The 10 Watt is fantastic. Like the 2W, it seems a little "under speced" and seems louder than 10 Watts, but that's point to point, mil spec at it's best.
This one is housed in a nice little solid pine cabinet and has input, gain switch, bright switch, volume, tone and master volume. Back panel has IEC power input with fuse, switch and output socket (8 Ohm optimum)
This is a beautiful little amp all round and impresses as much as the 2W did. At ONLY $575 Aus, it is an absolute steal. Amazing. Darryl, you've done it again.
